Al Bolani meets Iraqi Community in Beirut

At the end of his visit to Beirut, Interior Minister Jawad Al Bolani met with the Iraqi Community in Lebanon stressing that Iraq which was behind advancement for a long time is seeking today highly technical and modern institutions and working on training human resources. Al Bolani evoked the security situation in the country noting that achievements so far are a major security attainment reached by huge sacrifices. He stressed that any attempt to harm these achievements is crossing the red line. He added as well that security achievement should be invested in development projects.
As for the role of the government in promoting democracy, Al Bolani affirmed that the present government managed to achieve major projects and build institutions capable of facing challenges.
Regarding the conference of Arab Interior Ministers, Iraqi Interior Minister asserted that this conference is an annual meeting during which participants discussed security issues in Arab countries and their direct effect on the people. They discussed as well new strategies against terrorism and organized crimes.
At the end of the conference, Al Bolani explained about the Iraqi Interior Ministry missions namely training police and security forces operating around Iraq and setting border stations. He noted that the Ministry is a state within a state that includes more than 500,000 recruits among whom 9,500 officers recently reinstated
