At least six people were killed and ten others were wounded in a suicide bombing targeting the funeral of an old woman in Haditha City, Anbar.
Mourners were heading for burial when the explosion occurred, head of the City’s municipality said.
In Kirkuk, police found the body of Christian citizen Imad Elia Abdul Karim with gunshot wounds and knife stabs in his legs. Abdul Karim, an accountant at the Health Directorate in Kirkuk, was kidnapped on Saturday in front of his house by unknown men.
A car bomb targeting a convoy of trucks carrying Peshmerga Forces wounded 30 members.
Wounded were taken to a nearby hospital while 17 are still under treatment with no serious conditions, Peshmerga 1st deputy chief Fahmi Soufi said.
