Joint Forces of Iraq’s Army 10th Division and US Forces carried out a military operation on Wednesday at dawn using helicopters and police dogs in Azirj, Khafaja and Bou Jemea villages in northern Nasiriya and 14 Ramadan village near Sayyed Dakhil City.
The military operation took hours while suspected were detained and weapons were seized, the source added. Dhi Qar Province and the province’s police command showed discontent over the operation.
