Sayyed Moqtada Al Sadr called on Friday to dispel all US soldiers, bases and companies from the country and release detained Sadr Front members and supporters.
Al Sadr Front continues to face US Forces and bases in the country stressing the necessity to release all detainees who “fought against the occupier”, he said in a statement read out by his office manager Hazem Al Araji.
The statement was read out before a crowd on the 11th anniversary of the assassination of Mohammad Sadeq Al Sadr, who was killed in 1997.
