UN Chief's special envoy to Iraq Oscar Fernandez Taranco carries on holding talks with officials in Baghdad after which he is expected to submit a report to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon who asked him to investigate the situation after the last explosions that took place in Baghdad. Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki who met the UN envoy called the UN to make steps in order to stop the bloodshed in the country. Security and intelligence information affirm that there are regional intervention in Iraqi affairs this is why Iraq has no other recourse but to resort to the UN, Maliki said.
