Lights shed on today’s Parliament session

Attention is focused today on Iraq’s Parliament as lawmakers are expected to vote on the elections law.
A semi-final agreement has been reached between the Parliament Presidency committee and representatives of political parties and the legal committee over Kirkuk mainly that other electoral amendments have been approved. The new proposal stipulates to hold elections in Kirkuk according to the present year’s registers.
