After years of writing in the style of Moliere, Voltaire and Hugo for Arab and French Newspapers and Magazines with a spell of his own humorous sarcasm on Lebanese politics and politicians in the “Chansonnier”, Alsumaria Director General Mr Jean Claude Boulos kept record of his in print beautiful old day memories.
From teenage years throughout youth until maturity, his articles, poems and plays have been gathered in a “collection” of eight French books which he signed during a press conference in the honorable presence of ministers, prominent figures, friends and family.
“Théâtre de Dix heures” is the title of his first book that writes down play scenarios while the second book gathers social and political sarcasm and anecdotes.
His third book relates Mr Jean Claude Boulos’ cooperation with martyr Gebran Tueini in Annahar French annex “Le Nahar Arabe et International” title of his book.
His forth book “Mes Magazines” shares with interested readers media critic articles by Mr Jean Claude Boulos which he published in the Magazine journal.
“A quoi ça rime?” is the title of his fifth book that unveils a collection of French poems.
Caricature humor has its own share as well among Mr Boulos’ works in his sixth book entitled “Bandes, Humour et Cie”.
His short stories dating from the fifties were brought together in his seventh book “Nouvelles(et)anciennes”.
His last book “Un blogueur sachant bloguer” came in result of Mr Boulos’ recent interaction with the Internet as his children opened for him a blog on internet to write in his articles, journal and memoirs.
Collecting old scraps, scattered poems and hand written articles was a difficult but pleasant task, Mr Jean Claude Boulos told Alsumaria.
Each book has within a special particularity and leaves a significant impact upon me, he said adding that his “Recueils” bares within the history of Lebanon that can be felt through an individual’s experience.
