US Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration Eric Schwartz held talks with Jordanian Prime Minister Nader Dahabi, who "urged "more assistance to cope with the burdens of hosting hundreds of thousands of Iraqi refugees.
The US Embassy in Amman reported that Schwartz will visit Iraq and Syria where he will meet Iraqi and Palestinian refugees benefiting from the programs funded by the US Government in the region.
