Gaddafi meets with Erdogan |

Libyan President Muammar Moamer Gaddafi on Tuesday held talks with visiting Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the framework of the latter’s official visit to Libya which is meant to boost bilateral relations. Libya News Agency said that during the meeting the two leaders discussed “international issues” the Palestinian cause progresses, peace and security in the region as well as reforming the UN. President Amadou Toumani Toure of Mali who arrived to Tripoli on Tuesday also participated in the meeting which tackled the preparations for the Next African Union meeting which is supposed to be held in Addis Ababa in January 2010. Erdogan who is accompanied by a delegation constituted of about a hundred Turkish businessmen and officials had held talks with his Libyan counterpart regarding means to boost common investments and trade deals between Libya and Turkey.
