Violence has peaked on Wednesday in Baghdad casting the lives of 14 people and wounding tens others.
Three explosions targeted Karbala City, in Al Mukhayyam region, Al Abbas intersection and Al Dahhan compound killing three citizens and wounding 38 others.
Three mortars landed in Al Jawadin popular market in Al Sheala District killing 10 people and wounding around 60 others while gunmen robbed a series of jewelry stores in the same market.
After stealing money and jewelry, gunmen opened fire and threw bombs arbitrary before running away, reports said.
