Al Baghdadiya reporter colleague Alaa’ Abdul Al Wahab was killed in a car bomb explosion in Al Shorta District in northern Mosul. Local police official reported that Abdul Wahab who is also a journalist was killed while University professor Dr. Sultan Gerges, an anchor on another TV channel was wounded due the bomb that was planted in Abdul Wahab’s car. Moreover, civilians death toll has dropped drastically in May to its lowest since 2003 incidents according to figures from Iraq’s Health Ministry figures. Interior Minister Jawad Al Bolani told Reuters that attacks by terrorists are limited and security forces are capable of dealing with it.
