A car bomb in a parking near Anbar District building in Ramadi killed 3 victims among them 2 Policemen and wounded 4. Colonel Hassan Abdel Nasser Juburi, the building guards’ chief pointed out that the blast targeted him on his way to work. However Juburi was not harmed while his driver and one of his bodyguards were wounded. In Mosul, 5 people were killed including 4 Policemen in seperate attacks, a police source reported. For his part, Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Askari stated that 24 terrorists were arrested among them 2 Syrians and an Iraqi “Emir” in Al-Qaeda in addition to 3 Iraqi outlaws. Al Askari noted that a military operation had started on Monday in Northern Nineveh with the participation of Police units.
