Arab League permanent representative to UN Yahya Mahmassani told AFP that at the beginning of November, notably the 4th thereof, the UN General Assembly will probably discuss Goldstone report accusing Israel of committing war crimes in Gaza Strip. \"The Arab group is requesting that the report... be debated in the General Assembly in early November,\" Mahmasani said, adding that he will submit the request of the Arab group in a letter to Assembly president, Libyan representative, Ali Triki. He said the Arab League\'s intention was to propose the General Assembly pass a resolution approving the Goldstone report and \"requesting the (UN) Security Council to take it\" up in formal debate.
