Iraq Ministry of Electricity said that some of the equipments for the new electricity power plants with a production capacity of 400 megawatt arrived. These equipments are provided by Siemens German Company and General Electric US Company in the framework of a contract signed between the Ministry of Electricity and the two companies in order to provide equipments for an electricity power that produces 10000 megawatt. A source said that the technical teams will set up the equipments in an electricity plant east of Basra coast. It is to be noted that 40 international companies presented bids in order to implement the first stage of the project.
