Iraq seeks not to allow a constitutional void as Parliament’s term ended on Wednesday March 16, informed parliamentary sources told Al Sabah Newspaper. Iraq decided therefore to extend Parliament’s term till April 22 while MPs’ immunity will be removed on Wednesday March 17. No official statements were made yet by Parliament’s Presidency on extending Parliament’s term.
