Iraqiya List leader Iyad Allawi is back to criticize Iraqi government and Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki.
In a special interview on Alsumaria, Iraqiya List Iyad Allawi rebuked the delay in executing Arbil agreements including premiership bylaws, premiership military units and the strategic national policy council which he refused to preside.
Allawi had visited the city of Najaf days ago and met with Sadr Front leader Moqtada Al Sadr. Allawi told Alsumaria that he does not rule out an alliance with Sadr Front which is represented in Parliament by 40 seats especially that the Front is currently reconsidering his alliance with the State of Law, he said.
Many political parties are facing problems with the government, therefore, might end their support to Maliki namely Kurds and the Supreme Council, Allawi said.
Iraqiya leader voiced concerns over eschewing the List’s right to occupy the Defense Ministry.
Al Iraqiya has presented five candidates for this position including civilian Fallah Al Naqib and four ex-military officers.
