The United Nations confirmed 34 people of Iranian exiles’ camp were killed last week at camp Ashraf north of Baghdad. A spokesman for the United Nations said that 34 members of the group, the People’s Mujahedeen, had been killed near Camp Ashraf, in Diyala Province. “United Nations confirmation of the scope of last week’s tragedy at Camp Ashraf is deeply disturbing and the Iraqi military action is simply unacceptable. Corrective action is imperative”, Chairman of U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, John Kerry said.
