Kurdistan region government hailed the natural gas plan with the value of 8 billion dollars established by a consortium that includes European and Arab companies. The government said that it will provide big quantities of gas for exports. OM Austrian Company and MOL Hungarian Company participated with Al Hilal Oil and Dana petroleum in order to start supplying the Nabucco pipeline with significant amount of natural gas, in order to reduce Europe’s reliance on Russia. An official source in Turkish pipelines Company Botach said that transporting gas from Kurdistan region will enable Nabucco pipeline from transporting Gas to Europe by 2014.
