A senior official reported on Thursday that Al Qaeda linked religiously extremist group that was arrested has confessed receiving financial support from Syria. The network has recruited a woman suicide bomber who blew herself up inside Imam Moussa Al Kazem (A.S) shrine last April. The source speaking on condition of anonymity clarified that security and interior affairs forces have arrested 3 Al Qaeda linked extremists upon intelligence in Zayouna District in central Baghdad two days ago. The same source affirmed that the group has confessed having received financial support from Syria without elaborating further on this issue.
