Terrorists have thought that they can still hold a grip of Iraq and get away with their crimes; however, it proved that they are terribly mistaken and that justice is pursuant of whoever dares to break the law. Iraq today is no longer the same as before, since Iraqi security forces capacities to take grip of criminals are increasing and their readiness to protect citizens is mounting.
In this regard, Brigadier General Numan Dakhil Jawad, commander of a police rapid reaction force in Baghdad, said a suspected senior member of the Islamic State of Iraq military wing was captured. His name is Ahmed Abed Awaied, and he is the mastermind of Hareth Al Ubaidi’s assassination.
Jawad said we have received intelligence from close sources to Abou Baker Al Seddiq Mosque in Al Ghazaliya reporting a suspect. As a result, police raided the house and arrested the criminal.
