Israel’s Channel 2 said that the Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu agreed to partially freeze West Bank settlements for nine month according to the US request. Freezing includes halting the construction of new habitation units in the settlements were 300000 Jewish are living. On the other hand, the freeze does not include 2500 habitation units which are currently being built in these settlements nor the Public buildings nor the colonial neighborhoods in east Jerusalem. The Israeli TV quoted Netanyahu as saying to his partners in the governing alliance that he throve to change the US conditions from a permanent freeze to a temporary and partial one. To that, some Arab countries including Qatar, Sultanate of Oman, Tunis and Morocco agreed to set up official offices, the Israeli TV said.
