At least 19 people were killed and tens others were wounded due to three bombings in Ramadi.
At least 17 people were killed and 77 others were wounded in two car bomb explosions in a parking lot facing Al Anbar Province building in Ramadi, a security source said adding that 80% of wounded were policemen. 10% of wounded are in a serious condition, the source said.
When the first explosion occurred, security forces and firemen rushed to the site to put off fire and remove bodies, the same source reported. About 7 minutes later, the second blast detonated.
A suicide bomber driving a car bomb tried to raid Al Ramadi General Hospital but was intercepted by the facilities security forces, another security source said. The suicide bomber blew up the car bomb killing two of the security guards and wounding four others, the source added.
Anbar deputy governor Hikmat Zaydan accused Anbar Police Command of shortcoming in its security mission after it failed to protect innocent citizens.
