Head of Baghdad Municipality Saber Al Issawi affirmed that Iraq has narrowed down the number of companies competing to build the country\'s first metro to eight foreign firms and expected the project to cost $3 billion to $4billion. Iraqi Government seeks to revive the special sector and develop damaged infrastructure due to the war, sanctions and economic destruction. Al Issawi expects to start receiving offers within three months.
