Iraq government said that it put off ratifying oil two oil agreements till next week. The first with a consortium led by Exxon-Mobil which awards the company development rights over the huge West Qurna oilfield and another agreement with Eni for the Zubair oilfield. The government intends to ratify Zubair oil field contract on November 17 after discussing some items in the agreement which were brought up by the Cabinet’s judicial committee.
