In a step that could be considered as signal to the progress Iraq reached in security, political and economy sectors, UN Security Council decided to extend Iraq Development Fund until the end of next year and also decided to revise some UN resolutions according to the request of the government and that before June 10 2010. Security Council also called the government to set up the needed work plan and the timetable by April 2010 in order to guarantee the effective transition at the right time after development fund mechanism ends by the end of 2010 which would help Iraq to abide by its engagements.
