An Iraqi official says the Angolan national oil company Sonangol has signed preliminary deals to develop two small oil fields; the 900 million barrels Nejma field and the 800 million barrels Qayara field which are situated in one of the most dangerous regions in the country. The two oil fields are situated in Nineveh. It is to be noted that the two are part of 15 fields offered to international oil companies during Iraq\'s second international oil licensing round earlier this month.
