The head of Iraq Olympic Committee and the secretary General thereof visited Lozan city answering an invitation offered by Mr. Jack Rock the head of the International Olympic Committee. This invitation comes in the framework of the programs of the International Olympic Committee which consist of inviting national Olympic committees in order to get to know more about their work and programs and to take an idea about their tasks. Meetings started between the sections and groups competent in Public relations, Institutional and Judiciary issues, games services, recommendations, supporting projects, visits and logistic support. Jerome Bovier made a presentation about the institutional work and the Olympic movement and the related judicial issues. Iraq delegation called Mr. Jerome to help to transfer the sums allocated for Iraq Olympic Committee and which are in Bank Credit Suisse and which is of 255000 dollars to the Iraqi Bank with which Iraq Olympic Committee deals given that the essential Bank in Geneva will be reviewed in order to finish judicial measures needed to transfer money to Iraq. Olivier Niyamki who is in charge of the Olympic Solidarity explained the projects that are to be implemented in the upcoming 4 years and the support that will be provided to national Olympic committees in order to train players and coaches and to hold training sessions. To that he asked Iraq national Olympic committee to submit a report in this regard in order to set the priorities. The second day included meetings regarding media services and advertising and one of the guides in the Olympic museum accompanied the Iraqi delegation on a tour. At the third day, the delegation met with the head of the International Olympic Committee Jack Rock for 40 minutes. Mr. Rock hailed Iraq Olympic committee’s visit and thanked all those who work in the International Olympic committee to remove the impedances that obstruct Iraq sports.
