US Ambassador to Iraq Christopher Hill affirmed that the US Government is deploying utmost efforts to support displaced and help improve their economic status. In his first visit to Diyala, Hill stated that US government respects rights of voters to choose their candidates and stands at the same distance from all political entities. The decision by Justice and Accountability Commission to ban Baathists from Iraq politics and cancel their candidature in elections is an internal affair and no one should intervene within.
