US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that the Former British Premier Tony in his quality as the Quartet peace envoy to the Middle East is willing to intensify his efforts with the US Middle East envoy George Mitchell in order to resume peace talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians. Clinton reiterated that Washington is engaged to work on solving the conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians adding that Blair would work on laying the bases for establishing a Palestinian state in the future and to grant the Palestinians the liberty of movement. Blair Spokesman said that the later is looking forward to intensify the efforts he is exerting in the Middle East peace issue all along with Mitchell and he also uttered that he is willing to help the Palestinians to get prepared for establishing a State. During the last year some progress was reached in the West Bank however there is still a lot of work to be done especially in Gaza Strip, the spokesman added.
