Al Bahri team achieved a victory at the inauguration of the first degree competitions in Basra province after winning over Al Qurna with a score of (3-1) in the game that took place at its stadium and led by the referee Adnan Shayeh. In a second game Al Basra hosted Abul Khasib team and the game ended with a (1-1) tie. Referee Ahmad Shaker led the game. 11 teams participate in the first degree championship in Basra distributed on two groups. The first leg games will be resumed on Wednesday with 3 games the first between Al Janoub and Shat Al Arab on Al Bahri stadium the game will be led by Ahmad Shaker, in the second game Al Sadeq will host Al Ahli in a game led by Ali Lafta, and Al Zubair hosts Gas Al Janoub and referee Rashid Hussain will lead the game.
