Iraq’s Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) announced that it would announce tonight results of the preliminary count according to the data it processed until now while the counting of the votes is still ongoing. IHEC Spokesman Qasim al-Abbodi stressed that the Commission is the only party entitled to announce the preliminary and the final results of the elections and pointed that the highest number of complaints (103) was in Basra while the least number of complaints was in Maysan.
