White House said that the US President Barack Obama donated his Nobel Prize money for charities. He gave a sum to organizations that helps the families of the soldiers, provide support to Haiti’s afflicted and provide education for the needy minorities. The same source said that Obama kept the promise he made as to donating this money to charities and that 4 months after receiving the Nobel Prize.
