Iraq Volleyball Association received an invitation from its international counterpart received an invitation from its International counterpart in order to attend the meetings of the General Assembly that will be held in September 2010 in order to discuss some issues stipulated on the meeting agenda and to elect a new executive office for 4 years. Vice President of Iraq Volleyball Mohammad Al Wazni said that the head of Iraq Volleyball Association Moayad Makdid, and Secretary Fadel Hussain will represent Iraq in the meetings of the General Assembly stressing that Iraq Volleyball Association will set its program and discuss it during the General Assembly sessions. The program includes many points and articles regarding the game on the international and national level. Wazni said that the Association set the dates of the remaining championships in the curriculum of the Association for the current season. Republic Championship for Youth is scheduled from October 15 till October 20 to be played in groups according to regions. To that, Woman Championship was set from November 10 till November 17 and will be divided according to regions: Middle region, Middle Euphrates, Southern regions and Northern regions.
