Al Iraqiya List spokesman Haidar Al Mulla announced that his list has gathered the signatures of 100 lawmakers in order to hold an exceptional session on Sunday aimed to officially turn the outgoing government of Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki into a care-taker government. The State of Law Coalition has pressured the rest of political parties to adjourn the parliamentary session on Tuesday. The parties accepted to adjourn the session provided that the coalition acknowledges that Al Maliki’s government is a care-taker government, Al Mulla told Al Sabah Newspaper. Al Iraqiya List is engaged in serious talks with Kurdistan Alliance and the national coalition, yet, no agreement is reached till the moment, he added.
