At the beginning of next month, German coach Wolvang Sidka arrives to Iraq in order to sign a contract with Iraq National Football team and to start preparing the team for the upcoming championships. The first tournament will be West Asia Championship to be held at the end of September in Jordan. Financial Manager in Iraq Football National Team Abdul Khalek Massoud said that the Football Association held many meetings in order to discuss the national teams preparations for Asia finals. The German coach will bring with him the fitness coach as Iraq Football Association gave him the choice to bring the appropriate person for the job, however the Association will choose the assistant coach and goal keepers coach and their names are to be revealed later. Sidka is born in June 26, 1954, he started coaching in 1987. Sidka is the third German coach to lead an Iraqi National Team,
