A police and army joint security force arrested on Monday morning four wanted on charges of violence in Diyala Province. The arrest was carried out during a preventive operation in Al Rasafa. Some of the arrested are wanted by virtue of the anti-terrorism law, Article 4, on account of belonging to armed groups, an informed security source told Alsumaria News. As part of crackdown and search operations carried out in Diyala during the last 24 hours, Police forces from Diyala Police Command arrested 34 wanted and suspects including three members of an Al Qaeda armed cell involved in an assassination attempt against three judges. In Kirkuk, two brothers were killed on Monday while playing with a grenade.
