Since the fall of the former regime, Iraq has turned into a battle scene between the United States and Iran, State of Law Coalition senior official Ali Al Adib said. Parties seeking stability for Iraq should take into consideration Washington and Tehran’s stand towards the candidate for Premiership, he added. Al Adib noted that Iraqi political parties refuse any government interference in the government formation, however, there might be some agreements on regional and international agendas over a number of issues. Ali Al Adib accused some parties of executing foreign agendas by putting red lines on candidates for Premiership which is hindering the political process, he argued.
