A double explosion targeting a federal police patrol in Al Bayaa region killed and wounded 22 people mostly policemen, an Iraqi police source told Alsumaria News. An Iraqi soldier killed two US soldiers and wounded nine others when he opened fire on them during a training session in Salahuddin province, Defense Ministry spokesman Mohammed Al Askari told Alsumaria News. The Iraqi Defense Ministry and the US military formed investigation committees into the incident, Al Askari said. The reasons for shooting were not yet known, he added.
