Iraq’s Court acquitted MP Mithal Al Alusi prosecuted for visiting Israel. After lawmakers had voted overwhelmingly to strip him of his immunity and allow his prosecution for participating in counter terrorism conference in Israel, an Iraqi court ruled that there was no explicit law against visiting Israel. While passports issued at the time of the former regime warned of traveling to Israel, current passwords do not mention this ban. Alusi\'s lawyer Tariq Harb said Alusi has regained his immunity and will regain all his rights and resume work in parliament soon. For his part, Alusi clarified that he has been the victim of a conspiracy on account of his honest stands against Iran.
