Al Iraqiya leader Iyad Allawi called on Kurdistan leader Massoud Barazani to interfere in favor of resolving the issue of the national strategic policy council formation, said a Kurdistan Alliance MP asking not to be identified. In a phone conversation with Barazani, Allawi called on Kurdistan leader to hold talks with heads of political parties in Baghdad or invite them for a meeting in Arbil to resolve the national policy council issue given that Barazani is the initiator of the proposal that ended the government crisis, Allawi said.
