Al Qaeda affiliated group in Iraq “Ansar Al Sunna”(Followers of the Sunna) affirmed that its operations against the “occupier” are ongoing in response to the National Reconciliation Conference which announced that six armed factions halted armed operations and joined the political process. In a statement by the group obtained by Alsumaria News, “Ansar Al Sunna” announced it has formed a unified military council of Jihadist factions that include Ansar Al Sunna and the Islamic Army reform movement.
