On the security level, police said that 11 people at least were wounded in two separate attacks in Baghdad on Thursday. Police said that the first explosion blasted in Al Karada neighborhood while a convoy of Iraq Vice President Adel Abdul Mahdi was passing injuring 8 people including four of Abdul Mahdi’s bodyguards. However, Abdul Mahdi was not in the convoy. Earlier, police had said that a grenade exploded in Al Karada wounding 3 civilians.
