Iraq Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki received a delegation of the Organization of the Islamic Conference headed by its Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu and discussed the progresses in Iraq. The delegation had met President Jalal Talibani with whom he studied means to revive the Organization’s work in Iraq. During the meeting Ihsanoglu had affirmed that it is necessary to concentrate on Iraq for the great status and history it has. OIC Secretary General added that the organization supports Iraqi people and the ongoing political process.
