At least 11 people were killed including four of the same family while 22 others were wounded most of whom policemen in separate attacks in Baghdad and Mosul. In Kirkuk, attorney Faysal Al Fayslawi was assassinated in his office on Wednesday night. In a separate incident in Samarra, Awakening forces commander Ahmad Al Ali was killed with his wife, son and grandson in a bomb explosion near Balad District. In Mosul, two policemen were killed and eight were wounded in a car bomb explosion. Moreover, a sniper shot dead an Iraqi soldier in a patrol in Al Sohha District while another soldier was killed due to gunmen attack in Al Matahen region in western Mosul. Furthermore, a suicide bomber wearing an explosives belt targeted a police patrol killing two policemen and wounding 12 others including seven policemen.
