Turkish military sources reported that Baghdad and Ankara have finalized a deal according to which Turkey supports Iraq in rebuilding Iraq Army and training on military skills in addition to extending logistics support. Turkey would receive officers and Iraqi military cadres for studies in Turkish institutions as well. Deputy Chief of the Turkish General Staff Hasan Igsiz has reached a deal with Iraqis in this regard during his visit to Baghdad on Wednesday while the agreement will be officially signed during the visit o Turkish President Abdulah Gul to Baghdad end of March.
