Police said that an intelligence officer in the Ministry of Interior was killed after a bomb planted in his car blasted, a passerby was also killed and 8 others were slightly injured. The incident took place in Al Aazamiah region. In Baaquba, the police said that a bomb planted in a motorcycle blasted killing 3 workers and wounding 8 others. To that, General Qassim Atta, spokesman for Baghdad military command affirmed that the security forces will carry on exerting efforts in Al Fadel region in order to guarantee the safety and security of the citizens, pointing out that the citizens in the region are still handing their arms voluntarily. Atta pointed out that the Security Forces don’t aims Awakening Forces and that they are working on disarming the region and arresting outlaws. Atta added that some intelligence information reveal that there are a lot of medium and heavy weapons in Al Fadel region.
